A new beginning

Throughout the decades, there have been many Pakistani cultural societies at UNSW. The modern UNSW Paksoc was first founded in 2012. However, due to lack of member support, the society had a small presence and was unable to keep running.

In 2015, the society was reestablished by four passionate individuals and it has been growing ever since. It was their aim to showcase and create a platform for people who appreciate Pakistani culture to share their passion.

Culture explosion

Pakistanis from UNSW have come together throughout the years to celebrate Pakistani culture.

This includes celebrations such as Pakistani Independence Day, Eid Ul Fitr, Eid Ul Adha and countless others.

It is our aim to connect the members of the Pakistani community and provide an opportunity for individuals to learn more about their cultural heritage.

Share Pakistan

UNSW Paksoc is not only limited to those of a Pakistani background.

This society is for anyone and everyone who wants to learn about Pakistan and its rich culture.

Reach new heights

UNSW Paksoc provides opportunities for its talented members to realise their potential and achieve the great.

SO, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

Growing big

UNSW Paksoc has collaborated with other university Pakistani cultural societies to organise events for its members.

The Consulate General has attended several events and has praised the management on their success

It is our vision to further our reach to the general public and share the passion with them too.
